This Little Light of Mine: I'm Going to Let It Shine (A Personal Testimony of Sheilla)

I still vividly remember how everything starts. That was saturday, my mother and I planned to have an haircut. We heard a group of people singing a worship song near the hair salon. My mother told me to check the place where that song comes from. The first picture is the time we go upstairs and check the place. I took a picture of their Church Service and we planned to attend on Sunday.

These two pictures i took is on sunday service. My mother and I cried while singing the praise and worship. My mother's prayer had been answered. To have a church near us. I received a bible that day. My heart is filled with joy.

This bracelet was given after the youth service. Best bracelet I've received. Through my consistently attending the Church Service, I can feel that something changed in me. I am hungry and thirsty for His words. It feels like God is talking to me through the sermons. "God is waiting for you open arms" "He forgives you" the exact words that make me cry during Discipleship Training.

Exactly two months after attending the church. I was baptized when the Youth Event was held. A reminder that my old self is gone, and I am now a new creation.

Attending the church changes how i view the world. How important to have faith in Him, to be committed, consistent, and to always put God first. I'm still growing, learning to bear fruit, living that glorifies God, and practicing to change the habits that lead me to sin. Through attending consistently I am now joining the worship team, leading people to praise and worship God.
